This department is under the supervision of a senior MSc (Mrs. Maryam Arshadi Far) as the department's director and three experts with degree in biology, microbiology and agricultural engineering . Most methods used in this section are National Standard Booklets and some of the Standard Methods.
All germs in food, water and effluent tests, biological fluids in the body are searched or counted in this section.
Also, the water and waste water biology examination (search and counting and determination of the size of phytoplankton and zooplankton) is also done in this section.
All tests on microbiology of surfaces in kitchens, restaurants, supermarkets, and fingers and halls are also available.
